Shallow Big Leaf Maple

I tried different shapes, including some shallow bowls. This one is of Big Leaf Maple burl and I have used 23k gold leaf for the background of the band of writing. The bowl is 20 inches in diameter and 4 inches deep and is now owned by a New York collector.
