Genie platter
When I first made this platter, I saw the bark inclusion as a windswept pine tree on a cliff in Algonquin park or near Lake Superior. Kind of a Tom Thomson effect. But when I first posted it on the Internet, a fellow wood turner said it really was a Genie, smoking up a storm. I can't get that out of my head. This was purchased as a wedding present for a young couple.
