Padauk platter
This came from the biggest Padauk plank I have ever seen. It was purchased many years ago by another wood turner and saved for that special occasion. He eventually developed carpal tunnel problems and had to sell all his wood. I was luck enough to get this plank. I brought it home, put it in the garage, and that night realized I was doing the same thing the first owner did. Next morning I went out, hauled the plank into my studio, cut it up and started turning. Size:20 inches by 2 inches.
