Black Hole
The hole represents the growing gap between the East (represented by the minaret feet) and the West (Toronto CN Tower foot). The hole is made from Cocobolo and the feet from spalted Big Leaf Maple. This sculpture is currently on display at Convergence, a juried show at the Tom Thomson Memorial Art Gallery. It was awarded an Honourable Mention.
