Wenge Fruit Bowl
This fruit bowl is made from Wenge, a very hard and brittle wood from Africa. It was turned as a large disk, with a piece of sacrificial wood where the crack now is. After turning the sacrificial wood is removed and the two "wings" mounted on feet made from spalted figured Maple. Size is 16 inches long, 12 inches wide and 2.5 inches deep.
