Raindrop or Leopard patterned bowl
This bowl appeared in the book "500 Wood Bowls" published by Lark Press. Photos, from turners around the world. were chosen by Ray Leier and Jan Peters of del Mano gallery of Los Angeles and Kevin Wallace, an independent curator. The pattern looks like rain sheeting down a glass, or spots on a leopard. It is Sugar Maple, and this is the only log in which I have seen this pattern. Size: 10.5 inches wide and 3.5 inches deep.
