Golden Egg
This is a variation on the Golden Egg theme. (See for another, wilder, variation, see the Sculptures section). This is Manitoba Maple, bleached. The top is cut with a Dremel tool and then the edge was covered with 23k gold. The red on the shell is a natural colour that does not bleach out of the wood. Size is 14 inches high and 7 inches deep. It is finished with a water-based polyurethane.
