Humpty Dumpty
As soon as I stopped the lathe after turning the outside of this piece of wood, I knew what to call it. Humpty Dumpty -- as reassembled by a committee. It is a Maple burl with bark inclusions. Size is 18.5 inches wide and 8 inches deep. On seeing this bowl, Clay Foster, an internationally-recognized turner from Texas wrote: "You're the master of the perfect bowl curve. The little lip a the top is just right as a turn around spot for the eyes."
